Biography

As a Professor of Instruction in the Business and Entrepreneurship deaprtment, Beth teaches graduate and undergraduate students. Following are active courses: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Introduction to Management & Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Self-Management & Freelancing, and Social Influence & Community Engagement. Beth's passion for learning and commitment to the development of human behavior is a common theme in her portfolio career. She brings broad organizational consulting and management experience to her teaching and she is consistently challenging norms. Beth has worked with executives in a variety of business, nonprofit and education institutions with a focus in leadership and communication coaching, career management, and recruitment. She has been active in community and professional organizations in youth mentoring using a variety of adult learning and motivation techniques to help people succeed.  She is an active board member with C21 Women's Ensemble, a non-profit arts organization. 

She earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development & Administration from Barry University in Miami, Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Management from The University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.  She earned online teaching credentials from: The Association of Colleges and University Educators (ACUE), Quality Matters, and Online Learning Consortium (OLC).
