Biography
Brittany Nakos is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Fashion Studies Department, and often teaches in the areas of Digital Textile Design, Garment Construction and Fashion Design Principles.
Brittany’s professional background includes retail management, product development, trend research, merchandising and apparel design. She is an entrepreneur with projects that include: designing and constructing womenswear and childrenswear, apparel consultations and sample making, custom textiles and textile styling, graphic design, branding and interior design.
Brittany is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s Fashion Program (2004) where she earned an interdisciplinary degree concentrating in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising.
