Biography
Ms. Odell is an adjunct professor in the Communications Department with 24 years experieence teaching Voice & Articulation to undergraduate students. Ms. Odell is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has over 30 years’ experience working with communication disorders, diagnosis and treatment. Ms. Odell has a Master of Arts degree in educational leadership.
Ms. Odell is also an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Instructional Areas
Teaching interest includes use of professional dialects necessary in professional settings.
Creative Practice and Research Interests
Research interest are in the area of expert witness testimony associated with communication disorders as a result of head injury.
