
Biography
Jeff Derringer is an adjunct professor of Music at Columbia College Chicago, specializing in digital music technology.
Outside of Columbia Jeff is a producer and performer who travels the world performing his live, improvised DJ and hybrid sets. His records regularly appear on the world's best techno labels and Jeff is a resident at America's longest-running and most notorious nightclub, Chicago's Smartbar. Jeff has enjoyed nearly fifteen years of success, both as a professor and an artist, helping to shape the next generation of music producers in Chicago.
Currently Jeff is preparing his next record for release on his own Oktave Records, while his residency at Smartbar continues to entertain techno fans from all over the Midwest and beyond.
