Biography

Rachel Ready is an experienced marketing and advertising professional, having worked for Leo Burnett global advertising agency as well as smaller organizations. Additionally, she taught at Columbia College Chicago for over seventeen years with a four-year hiatus before returning to teaching in fall 2022 as an adjunct instructor. Rachel currently works as the Customer Relations Manager for North Shore Trust and Savings. Optimizing customer relationships through an enhanced marketing solutions-based platform is one role she plays in the mortgage financing section of the organization. She is also responsible for content creation, strategy, and scheduling. Rachel was employed as an Assistant Professor of Instruction for the Communication Department at Columbia College Chicago, she instructed students within the advertising program and acted as a member of the Communication Department Curriculum Committee and Recruitment Taskforce. Other service to the school included operating as an advisor and a course supervisor for multiple program course sections. Prior to Columbia, she worked in the media buying group and creative recruitment services at Leo Burnett. Education includes a master's in human resource management from Keller Graduate School of Business.
