Adjunct faculty member in BUSE and CTVA Departments teaching Self-Management and Freelancing, Internship, in addition to Speech and Career Strategies classes.
Skilled in creating an inclusive, engaging and learner-centered, safe environment that promotes 2-way communications and self-improvement in both hard and soft skill areas; aligned with industry professionals to facilitate networking opportunities.
Sessions incorporate business, communication and sales techniques to improve skills in networking, problem-solving, goal development, business and career research; in-class time for analyzing and presenting content, oneself and projects in a professional manner strengthens levels of confidence and competence.
Diverse career experiences include business ownership, professional services, management and staff leadership, contract training for the Dale Carnegie Organization, active musicianship, and teaching responsibilities as an Associate Professor of Marketing and Communications.
Varied travel experiences in and out of the United States, a sense of humor, strong communication skills, and an interest in other people help make sessions engaging, informative and value-added.
