Biography
Robert M. Edgecomb is an award-winning Cinematographer and Assistant Professor of Cinematography in the Cinema and Television Arts department at Columbia College Chicago where he teaches classes on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. For the past decade, Robert has worked all over the world filming narrative, documentary and web content on formats ranging from 35mm film to digital. His most recent work has been on content that embraces the LGBTQIA+ community, most noticably the Netflix show, 'Eastsiders.' He has also won numerous cinematography awards from Fuji Film, Kodak Film and multiple film festivals. Robert received his undergraduate degree in Film and Philosophy from Webster University in St. Louis before getting his MFA at USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2009.
