Biography
Bonita Winer (Bonnie) grew up in Chicago with a fascination in the natural world, fantasy storytelling and the mystery of being. With an MFA degree in Film Production from the University of Southern California, an MSW degree in Child and Family Counseling, and a BS in Early Childhood Education, she looks for the healing power and paradigm shifting potential of stories. She has worked as an editor and assistant editor in episodic TV, feature films and documentaries, working in Hollywood with a range of companies from Roger Corman to Warner Bros. Since her return to Chicago, she has been teaching, consulting and writing here in Chicago.
