Earn your fashion bachelor’s degree at Columbia College Chicago where you will learn from — and alongside — fellow industry changemakers. Our alumni and faculty teach you all aspects of the industry from fashion merchandising and fashion marketing to product development, styling, and fashion design. We’ll even teach you how to sew and make patterns of your own fashion designs. And you’ll have opportunities to enjoy faculty-led, short-term study-away experiences in L.A., New York, London, Bath, Athens, and Berlin.

Win scholarships and national recognition: Our fashion design and fashion merchandising students consistently earn scholarships thanks to national competitions sponsored by companies and professional organizations, such as the National Retail Federation and L’Oréal Brandstorm, helping students showcase their savvy in marketing savvy and get noticed by major fashion labels and retail giants.
Participate in career-making fashion internships: Before receiving your BA or BFA fashion degree, gain hands-on experiences through internships with leading brands, such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Anthropologie, and Nike.
Gain real-world experience: At Columbia, Fashion students can work side-by-side apparel companies and other members of the fashion industry to address real-world issues, such as designing clothes that work for all body types and ability levels.
