'MovieMaker' Ranks Columbia Among the 30 Best Film Schools in the U.S. and Canada

Columbia College Chicago is once again recognized in ‘MovieMaker’s’ annual list of top film schools.
“MovieMaker” has named Columbia College Chicago among the 30 best film schools in the U.S. and Canada in 2024. The list was designed to offer a variety of options to help guide those preparing for careers in the media industry.
“All the programs offer top-notch equipment, experienced faculty, and abundant networking opportunities, and many offer study-away programs in major media markets and pipelines to jobs before and after graduation,” according to the publication.
The publication noted that, at Columbia, Film and Television students have opportunities to network with influential members of the film industry via film festivals as well as career center and on-campus events.
