Alumni Short Film Selected to Screen at Major NYC Film Festival
‘Ancestors’, a film co-directed by Columbia Alum Darren Lorenzi MFA ‘15, will be screening at the Urbanworld Film Festival in NYC.
A short film by Columbia College Chicago Interdisciplinary Arts and Media Alum Darren Lorenzi MFA ‘15 titled Ancestors has been selected to screen at the Urbanworld Film Festival in NYC. The film tells the story of a young man who, on the search for his dream job, is visited by four ancestors from different time periods to help him land the big one.
Urbanworld is a five-day festival, based in New York City, showcasing narrative and documentary features, short films, web originals, music videos, spotlight screenings and conversations, and live staged screenplay readings. This year's festival takes place from October 26 – 30.
