Audio, Arts, and Acoustics Alum to Present at International Conference
Izaak Thompson '21 will present a paper on his project "Pure Covidata: an Automated Sonification of the COVID-19 Pandemic's Recent State" at the Interactive Sonification Workshop (ISon '22).
Columbia Audio Arts and Acoustics Alum Izaak Thompson '21 will present a paper on his project Pure Covidata: an Automated Sonification of the COVID-19 Pandemic's Recent State at the Interactive Sonification Workshop (ISon '22) in Delmenhorst, Germany. Thompson completed this work for the department's Streaaam server during his last semester at Columbia in Fall 2021, under the guidance of Associate Professor in Audio Arts and Acoustics Florian Hollerweger.
The presentation will be delivered on Thursday, September 22 at 7:55 a.m. CDT via Zoom (registration is required for participation).
