A Columbia Student Film Makes the 2022 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards Shortlist
Columbia College Chicago student Tridev (Tejo)'s film was among the 82 projects shortlisted for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' 2022 Yugo Student Awards.
Columbia College Chicago student Tridev (Tejo)'s film Abhagir Swargo (Heaven for the Unfortunate) made the 2022 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards live-action shortlist.
This year’s shortlisted 82 projects have been selected from a record-breaking 715 submissions from 134 schools in 36 countries including, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Norway, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
The finalists will be announced on June 15. All students on the shortlist are given the opportunity to apply for and join BAFTA's talent development programs, including year-round access to in-person and online events hosted by BAFTA.
