On January 11, Theatre Assistant Professor Grace Kessler Overbeke will present a talk entitled, "The Many Mrs. Maisels: 20th-Century U.S. Jewish Female Stand-Up Comedians” at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Overbeke's book, about the first Jewish female stand-up comedian ("The Real Mrs. Maisel") will be published by NYU Press this spring.
