Columbia College Chicago Business and Entrepreneurship Festival Management students will host the college's first comedy festival on April 22 from 5:30 pm-10 pm at the Student Center. The festival will focus on diverse upcoming talent of Columbia students, faculty, and alumni. Admission will be free, however there is a suggested scholarship donation of $10 + for all wishing to support Columbia comedy students. 

The festival will feature fresh perspectives on traditional comedy forms like standup comedy, as well as humor-oriented mediums through collaborations with faculty, staff, and students, to showcase some of the many forms of comedy all in one night. The headliner for the festival will be Aunty Chan.  Ranging from improv to stand-up comedy, the festival will highlight all the talent Columbia possesses. The festival will be open to all who love to laugh!  

As the first annual comedy festival, there will be a tone set for it to continue for students and faculty to enjoy for years to come. The student producers, in partnership with the Theatre department and Office of Development and Alumni Relations set up a scholarship fund to support Columbia comedy students.  Several key sponsors and partners include Second City, Trader Joe's, the Columbia College Chicago Dance Center, and Columbia's Career Center.

The festival is open to everyone, including Columbia students, faculty, staff, and guests.
