Step into the heart of Hollywood with Columbia College Chicago’s Semester in LA program, headquartered at Sunset Las Palmas Studios—a historic studio lot that has been a cornerstone of the entertainment industry since 1918.
This iconic lot has hosted some of the most celebrated productions in film and television history, including I Love Lucy, Mr. Ed, The Beverly Hillbillies, and cinematic masterpieces like Raging Bull, When Harry Met Sally, The Player, and La La Land. As of Spring 2025, it continues to be a vibrant creative hub, hosting Ryan Murphy’s highly anticipated series All's Fair, featuring a stellar cast including Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Ed O’Neill, and Niecy Nash, a production that engulfs the SiLA classroom.
In the Semester in LA program, our faculty and staff will offer you tailored coaching to help you research and secure an internship, refine your resume, and develop your job-finding skills in a competitive marketplace.
