Enrollment and Degree Verifications
A verification is a confirmation of dates of attendance, enrolled status, and degrees earned. Unlike a transcript, it does not include credit hours or grades.
Self-Service in the Student Portal
Students with access to the MyColumbia portal can obtain free enrollment and degree verifications there. Your Social Security Number must be on record in the portal to use this service.
Students who do not have access to the MyColumbia portal, do not have their Social Security Number in the system, or need a specific document completed should fill out and submit the Enrollment Verification Request, found in the Resource Center. This form can be emailed to columbiacentral@colum.edu or turned in to 600 S. Michigan Ave., Suite 300. Office hours are 9 a.m.-5p.m., Monday through Friday. Please include any documents that need to be completed. Processing time is 3-5 business days.
Employers, Search Firms and 3rd Party Degree Verification
The National Student Clearinghouse is our authorized agent for providing enrollment and degree verifications to employers, screening firms, credit card and other companies. Please visit their website or call at (703) 742-4200.
