After you receive your Financial Aid Award Letter, you may have to take some additional steps to secure your funding. Here's how to check where you are in the process:
- If your Student Aid Report (SAR) indicates that you were selected for verification, if your SAR shows a caution flag (C-Flag), or if you answered YES to certain dependency questions on the FAFSA, please review the information for the Verification Process.
- If you answered YES to certain dependency questions on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will also need to provide dependency documentation to verify these data elements entered on your FAFSA, even if you were not selected by CPS or Columbia Central for the verification process.
