Nancy Tom Endowed Internship Award

for continuing undergraduate and graduate students

The Nancy Tom Endowed Internship Award was established to assist in defraying tuition expenses for students completing an unpaid internship, and to provide a pathway for students to gain professional experience and position themselves for lifelong career success.

The Nancy Tom Endowed Internship Award is open to:

  • Full-time undergraduate and graduate students who will complete an unpaid internship as part of their studies at Columbia College Chicago in the Fall 2024 semester
    • Note: Students must register their internship for zero, one, or three credits with the Career Center to be eligible for the award
  • Graduate students enrolled in a 0 credit hour thesis continuance course are not eligible
  • Students who complete at least one full-time semester at Columbia by the end of the Spring 2024 semester
  • Part-time Columbia employees and student workers may apply

Please Note:

  • Full-time Columbia employees, graduate students whose full fuition amount is covered by another source, graduate students-at-large, Laban certificate students, visiting students, and Leap Semester students are not eligible for the Nancy Tom Endowed Internship Award.
  • Check with your department before applying for the Nancy Tom Endowed Internship Award, as certain majors do not permit students to receive financial support based on internships.
  • Consult your Internship and Career Advisor through www.colum.edu/internships for additional information.

  • Up to $2,400
