What made you choose Columbia?

I wanted to live in a big city but I still wanted to be close to home. I’m glad that Columbia gave me both. I think I would miss my family too much.

What do you plan on studying during your time here?

I plan on studying the acting business. I would also like to study voice over. Both have always interested me so much. 

What are your career goals at this time?

Currently, my goals are to become an actor either in theatre or film. Either one would be a dream come true. I have always wanted to do that.

What do you most look forward to learning and creating in Chicago?

I’m excited to learn more about the business behind acting and how to use my resources to reach my goals. I hope while I’m in Chicago to act or do a voice over for any student films. That would be so cool!

How do you see your artistic practice engaging with current events?

Acting will probably be an interesting experience during a pandemic. You most likely won’t get to know your co-workers either. It’ll definitely be hard to rehearse.
