Fashion Student and Recent Graduate Awarded YMA Fashion Scholarship Funds
Earlier this week, Fashion Business alum Ashley Woosley ’17 and Fashion Design student Rachel Hentrich took home scholarships for their YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund case studies. This year’s competition asked applicants to “explore how the weaving together of digital technology with offline shopping can improve the performance of a fashion retailer of your choice.”
A recent Columbia graduate, Woosley was given a $10,000 National Merit Scholarship for her Levi’s Case Study, which comes a year after a $5,000 YMA FSF scholarship for her Macy’s X Etsy Case Study. Fashion Design student Rachel Hentrich was awarded $5,000 for her J.C. Penney Case Study.
