What would you say has been the most surprising thing you learned at Columbia
Being at Columbia, I learned the most about traversing my creative temperament. I was surprised to find how much of my process was informed by being in educational spaces. Immersing myself in a college setting led to my complete dedication to cinema and writing. I came to love and see the importance of the stories I could tell.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to eventually continue my studies as a writer and historian while continuing to pursue a career as a director of film, television, and hopefully theater productions.
If you were going to sum up your experience at Columbia in one sentence, what would you say?
It was a thoroughly turbulent learning of the self.
