"The thing I was most surprised about [Columbia] was the dedication of the other students to creating great things and collaborating," says the recent Interaction Design graduate.

What would you say has been the most surprising thing you learned at Columbia? 

The thing I was most surprised about was the dedication of the other students to creating great things and collaborating. Thanks to Columbia, I've made some of the best friends I could have ever imagined, and I'll always hold a soft spot in my heart for Columbia because of it.

What individuals or programs at Columbia were helpful to you in reaching your goal of graduating?

The advocacy and help from were invaluable to my journey at Columbia. He helped me realize my hopes with my thesis and turn it into work that will help the Trans community. Assistant Professor David Antognoli also helped me find my passion for game development in my undergrad, and his help throughout the years has been inspiring.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I've been working at Whitethorn games, and I'm excited to apply the things I've learned to my work there.
